Welcome!

Chris Rainwater Photos.

Welcome to my web site. Whether you’re visiting today because you’re an old friend who wants to find out what I’ve been up to, a prospective employer who wants to learn more about me as a candidate with your organization, or because you just stumbled across this site, I am glad that you’re here.

The idea behind this site is to provide you with more information about me; both professional and personal. With that in mind, you’ll find a biography section as well as a resume, career aspirations, and more. If you’re a prospective employer, I hope that the web site provides you with the information you need; certainly more than is provided in a resume or a cover letter. As someone who has been on the interviewing side of the desk many times, I understand the frustration that comes with narrowing a field of applicants down based on resumes only to have the candidate be someone entirely different in person. I hope that this site helps avoid that circumstance.

If you’re an old friend, or if you’re thinking about becoming a new friend, I hope you’ll enjoy browsing the site to see what I’ve been up to, to learn more about me, etc. I love meeting new people and saying hello to my friends, so don’t be shy about dropping me a line. You can always get in touch with me through this web site by using the contact page.

Finally, to my fellow veterans, both those who served in conflicts long-passed and those who serve today, I extend to you my heartfelt thanks for your service. My family is a family of veterans, and we know the sacrifices that you all make.

I extend to Karen Atherholt, the brilliant woman behind the actual building of this site, my sincere gratitude for all that she has done. Nobody builds a better site than Karen, and anyone thinking about a web site for themselves or their company would be well-advised to contact her. If her links on the web site don’t work for some reason, you can always e-mail me, and I will be more than happy to provide her contact information to you.

Chris Rainwater and Dad.

I dedicate this site to my father, MSgt. Ralph D. Rainwater, Sr., USAF (Ret) who passed from this life on February 5, 2004. He was my hero, and he will be forever missed.

May God bless you and your family today and always.
